Storage Tips:
Refrigerate in high humidity; to prevent chill injury, do not store below 42 degrees; keep away from ethylene producing produce.
Handling Tips:
Low humidity promotes shriveling; low temperatures can result in chill injury. Rinse whole fruits and vegetables in clean running water prior to using.
General Usage Ideas
- Purée MFC Cucumbers, RSS Diced Red Onions, RSS Washed & Trimmed Cilantro, mango, and RSS Lime Juice; top cold soup with diced cucumber and mango
- Stir together sliced MFC Cucumbers, chopped RSS Peeled Garlic, baby dill, and plain yogurt; serve with pita
- Mix MFC Cucumbers, chopped watermelon, and Italian parsley; drizzle with tzatziki sauce
Fall / Winter Usage Ideas:
- Mix chopped MFC Cucumbers, RSS Diced Red Onions, baby dill, sour cream, horseradish, and freshly cracked black pepper; serve with roast beef
- Combine RSS Romaine Ribbons with sliced MFC Cucumbers and red radishes; dress with tahini vinaigrette
