Store in original shipping container; do not store in plastic bags; keep away from foods that give off strong odors.
Handling Tips:
Handle with care; mushrooms are extremely fragile. Rinse whole fruits and vegetables in clean running water prior to using.
General Usage Ideas
- Simmer mushrooms in ginger-garlic broth; add spinach and serve.
- Add sautéed mushrooms and chopped chicken to cheese quesadillas.
Fall / Winter Usage Ideas:
- Sauté MFC Crimini Mushrooms, sweet potato cubes, RSS Washed & Trimmed Spinach, and RSS Sliced Onions; when browned add a touch of cream; wrap filling in puff pastry squares; bake and slice into triangles; serve with soup
- Layer roasted MFC Crimini Mushrooms, goat cheese, and escarole in a buttered baking dish; top with grated Parmesan and minced sage; bake until cheese is melted and browned on top
