Markon First Crop and Markon Essentials Limes are limited; packer label is being substituted as needed. Prices remain high due to extremely limited supplies.

• Mexican shipments (crossing through South Texas) are below normal
  • Wet weather has curtailed harvesting as this week gets started
  • Growers are also holding back additional limes to keep prices elevated through Cinco de Mayo
• 110- and 150-count sizes are scarce with few shippers quoting prices
  • The crop is producing very few large sizes
  • Demand has shifted to 175- and 200-count sizes
• Prices are slightly higher across the board
• Expect elevated markets through May
