The Arizona/California desert growing region has experienced light ice after Thursday’s strong, gusty winds, brought cold air into the region. Row crop harvesting will be delayed up to two hours.

Daytime highs will be at seasonable averages today and tomorrow, February 27, but the weather forecast is projecting cold mornings with lettuce ice through next Monday, March 1.
