Markon First Crop and Markon Essentials Limes are available. Prices continue to rise; all sizes are tightening.

• Mexican crossings into the U.S. are below normal levels, keeping availability limited
• Rain is forecast in Mexico’s primary lime region of Veracruz starting Friday, February 12 through next week; harvesting will be hindered
• The crop is currently dominated by large sizes (110- to 150-count fruit); smaller sizes are extremely tight (175-, 200-, and 230-count limes)
• 110- and 150-count sizes will tighten in the next three to four weeks; the size curve will shift to 175-count and smaller sizes (ideal for foodservice)
• Expect markets to continue rising through March, which is normal for this time of year
