Markon First Crop (MFC) Onions remain readily available in the Northwest. Quality is excellent. Expect steady, flat markets to persist as foodservice demand remains uncertain.   

• Idaho, Oregon, and Washington onions will be on the market through early May
• Utah supplies will ship through late April
• The Colorado season is expected to wrap up in late March
• Mexican onions are forecast to start entering into South Texas at the end of January  
• Texas-grown stocks will become available in early March
• The California season is estimated to start in late April out of the Imperial Valley desert region
• The New Mexico season is expected to start on June 1
