• Huron, California is currently the main growing region; rain over the weekend and lettuce ice this morning is causing harvesting delays
• Disease and virus pressure brought the Salinas Valley season to an earlier-than-normal finish, resulting in overall light industry weights
• Arizona/California desert production has started in a limited manner; initial quality is excellent although most fields have low head weights
• Expect tight supplies and active markets for the next 7 to 10 days as the Arizona/California desert regions ramp up
