Iceberg prices remain elevated; expect unsettled markets over the next several weeks.   

• Another heat spike has moved into California’s Salinas, Santa Maria, and Watsonville growing regions this week
• Weather will cool to normal levels over the weekend, but become hot again by the middle of next week
• Heat-related quality issues include growth cracks, internal burn, seeders, and sun scald (photos attached)
• Harvesting crews will work diligently to remove quality issues
