Markon Best Available is currently being substituted for Markon First Crop (MFC) Iceberg and Romaine packs due to light weights; MFC Green Leaf Lettuce is available.

• Most leafy greens harvesting has transitioned to California’s Salinas Valley, but limited supplies will remain available out of Huron, California for the next 10 days
• Iceberg and romaine lettuces are exhibiting mildew caused by recent storms
• Mildew pressure will linger into next week as forecasts call for cool temperatures and a small amount of rain on Monday, April 20
• Low iceberg case weights (ranging from 35 to 42 pounds) and quality issues in romaine are keeping product in MBA despite adequate supplies
