Rainfall earlier this week has decreased daily harvestable yields in California’s Central and Salinas Valleys. Broccoli, cauliflower, green leaf, iceberg, and romaine prices are rising. 

• Growers have experienced delays due to wet/muddy fields; crews are taking measures to minimize dirt/mud in finished packs  
• Some suppliers were forced to cancel harvests entirely
• Expect prices to continue inching up through this week, then level off next week as favorable weather is in the forecast
