Markon’s supplier of fresh-cut grapes will be transitioning from a domestic Crimson variety to a Chilean Flame red seedless variety beginning the week of December 21 (in all facilities). During this transition there may be some variability of the grapes in finished products. The Chilean Flame red seedless will be packed through early spring; at that point growers will transition back into domestic red seedless.

• The Flame red seedless grape will be round in shape compared to the elongated Crimson variety
• Color will be similar: rose to dark red
• Flavor will be sweet
