Iceberg and leafy green growers are beginning to transition production out of the Arizona/California desert region north to California’s San Joaquin and Salinas Valley growing region. Arizona/California desert harvesting will continue through mid- to late April depending on weather conditions.

• California’s northern growing districts (Huron, Santa Maria, and Salinas) are already transitioning back this week with production increasing more over the next couple weeks
• Church Brother’s processing facility has been pushed back one week; will now be up and running the week of April 6, while Taylor Farm’s and Misionero’s production will be up and running the week of April 13
