FROM THE FIELDS: Light Showers in the Desert Region
March 02, 2020
The Arizona/California desert growing regions are forecast to receive a passing shower or two by late morning and early evening. Less than .10” of total rainfall is expected and production delays should be minimal today.
This low pressure system will bring gusty winds and cooler temperatures that may cause lettuce ice to develop on desert row crops Tuesday and Wednesday, March 3 and 4. Warmer temperatures will return later in the week.
