Fresh-run yellow onions from Mexico will be available in South Texas next week. Mexican red and white onions will become available the week of February 10. Expect Northwest pricing to ease as production gets underway in South Texas. 

• Texas-grown onions are expected to hit the market in mid-March
• Loading onions in South Texas can present beneficial freight advantages
• Fresh-run onions have feathery skins and light color compared to Northwest storage onions
