Tender leaf items (particularly arugula and spinach) are limited. Yields are expected to remain low over the next seven days, as fields recover from the inclement weather they have been experiencing since late December 2019.                                     

• The Arizona/California desert growing region has experienced a cycle of freezing temperatures and sporadic rain, causing quality and shelf-life challenges
• Items such as arugula, spinach, and other spring mix varieties are exhibiting varying amounts of mildew, discoloration, mechanical damage, and reduced shelf-life
