Harvesting transitions in the Mexican growing regions (from Baja to Sonora) are limiting supplies and prices are rapidly increasing. Peruvian stocks are available; however, there is not enough supply to meet demand.

• Expect tight stocks until harvesting in the Caborca, Sonora growing region of Mexico starts in early January
• Quality is good: spears are deep green and tips are tight
• Expect elevated markets and limited supplies through the month
