FROM THE FIELDS: Lettuce Ice in the Desert Growing Region

Temperatures dropped into the low 30s causing lettuce ice in most areas of the desert growing regions of California and Arizona. Up to two hour delays are being reported.
More lettuce ice is expected as a low-pressure system will bring cold temperatures and high winds over the next few days.
