Harvesting transitions in the Mexican growing regions (from Baja to Sonora) as well as increased holiday demand is limiting supplies. Prices are climbing. Peruvian stocks are being supplemented to meet demand.

• Supplies will be limited until harvesting in the Caborca, Sonora growing region in Mexico starts in early January
• Quality is good: spears are deep green and tips are tight
• Expect elevated markets through the end of the month
