Bell Peppers
- Red and yellow bell pepper supplies are extremely limited, expect elevated prices for two to three more weeks
- Green bell pepper stocks are abundant, keeping price low
Strawberries
- Rain has impacted California’s main strawberry growing regions, heavily affecting quality and supply
- New crop Mexican stocks are available for loading in South Texas and Yuma, Arizona

New crop Florida berries have begun shipping in a limited way
- Markon First Crop Strawberries in one- and two-pound clamshells will be available in mid- to late December
Tomatoes
- All varieties of tomato supplies are tightening due to rain in Mexico’s Baja Peninsula
- Lower volume is expected for the next three to four weeks until new crop production begins in mainland Mexico
- Rain-related quality issues are reducing yields; Markon recommends ordering for quick turns
- Expect elevated markets and tight supplies of all varieties through December
