UPDATE: Limited Tomato Supplies

Tomato supplies are extremely tight due to heavy rainfall in Mexico’s growing regions. Prices will be much higher next week.
- The primary growing regions in Mexico (Baja, Chihuahua, Sinaloa, and Sonora) received heavy rainfall last week, resulting in flooding
- Overall volume is much lower than normal
- Florida yields are down resulting in fewer domestic stocks on the market
- Contract trigger levels will be met next week due to high prices; expect elevated markets on all varieties through December
