Cold weather is expected again in Idaho this week. Temperatures must be above 30 degrees F for potato production to proceed without jeopardizing the integrity of the crop. Not enough volume has been harvested for suppliers to utilize their onsite storage stocks and it is too early to open cellars currently going through the sweat process. 

• Internal black spotting and bruising can occur when raw product is hauled at low temperatures
• Loading delays are expected due to limited production schedules
• Pricing is expected to remain stable
• Below is a weather forecast (in Fahrenheit) for the next week
