Prices for Baja cucumber are escalating; Mexican supplies are extremely tight. East Coast stocks are adequate, but expected to tighten due to shifting demand.

• Baja, Mexico is the primary growing region for West Coast cucumbers this time of year; high temperatures have caused bloom drop, resulting in low yields for most growers
• East Coast cucumbers are available out of Michigan and New York

• Expect limited availability and high prices for the next four to six weeks (through September)
