Prices will continue to rise through early July. Mexico’s winter season is nearly finished, while California volume is 50% below normal levels.

• ­All sizes are scarce
• California fruit is available, but extremely limited; crop estimates are down approximately 50% due to last summer’s warmer-than-normal temperatures that caused severe bloom drop (affecting this summer’s crop)
• Expect elevated markets through mid-July, until summer volume begins increasing in Mexico
• Ripening levels will be a challenge as both the winter summer crops are on the market; new crop fruit is taking at least two or more days longer to ripen
