The winter berry seasons in Oxnard, California and Central Mexico are winding down. The Central Florida growing season will continue through March; expect steady supplies. Limited volume is now available out of Santa Maria, California. Recent weather conditions have been ideal for strawberry growth; size is excellent size and color is deep with only minimal white shoulders. Santa Maria volume will increase over the next several weeks as the Oxnard season ends in mid- to late March.

Markon Inspectors will be monitoring field conditions/quality and reporting as volume increases in each growing area.
