Bell Peppers
- Markon First Crop (MFC) Red Bell Peppers are sporadic
- MFC Green Bell Peppers are available in California and Georgia
- Red and yellow bell peppers will be limited over the next two weeks
- Expect elevated prices
Cauliflower
- Markon Essentials Cauliflower remains sporadic
- Expect smooth texture and snow-white color
- Supplies are increasing
- Prices will decrease next week
Celery
- The market is climbing due to increased demand and upcoming harvesting transitions
- Demand will start to strengthen for the Thanksgiving holiday, further impacting prices
- Supplies are increasing
Limes
- MFC Limes are available from Mexico (loading in McAllen, Texas)
- Supplies will decline over the next three weeks due to challenging growing conditions
- Scarring and discoloration are decreasing yields
- Lime prices will begin climbing next week
Lemons
- MFC and Markon Essentials Lemons are sporadic
- California supplies will remain tight until volume climbs in December
- The seasons in Chile and Mexico are ending, leaving California as the primary growing region
- Prices are expected to rise for several weeks
Melons
- MFC Cantaloupe and Honeydew Melons will be sporadic through November 18
- Supplies remain limited
- Expect elevated prices through November
Tomatoes
- Prices continue to escalate; supplies are limited
- Mature green volume will remain behind seasonal norms for the next four weeks
- Mexican vine ripe supplies will increase in early to mid-December
- Florida’s grape and cherry tomato volume remains extremely low; expect high prices through November
White Russet Idaho Potatoes
- New crop Idaho White Russet Potatoes are readily available out of Eastern Idaho
- Reports from growers indicate a balanced mix of sizes for the entire season
- Sufficient levels of both No. 1 and No. 2 grades are projected
- Prices are steady
