UPDATE: Bell Peppers, Cucumbers, and Squash

Bell pepper, cucumber, and squash supplies will be limited through November. Harvesting will be delayed up to three weeks in Southern Florida as Hurricane Irma disrupted plantings and production schedules in the region.
East Coast
- Markon First Crop (MFC) Green Bell Peppers, Cucumbers, and Squashes are available in Georgia
- Florida cucumber and squash production will start over the next 10 days; expect limited supplies

Bell pepper production will begin on Florida’s East Coast by mid-November
- Operations along Florida’s West Coast will be delayed into early December due to Hurricane Irma’s impact
- Expect elevated markets and limited East Coast supplies from early November through early December
West Coast
- MFC Green and Red Bell Peppers are available in California
- MFC Cucumbers and Squashes are available in Mexico (into Nogales, Arizona)
- West Coast bell pepper production has transitioned to Coachella, California; supplies are limited
- Mexican bell peppers (into Arizona and South Texas) will ramp up by mid-November
- Mexican cucumber and squash production is underway
- Expect markets to climb over the next three weeks as strong demand is expected on the East Coast through November
