Markon First Crop and Markon Essentials Oranges are not available. The California Navel harvest is starting in a limited way this week; supplies will be extremely tight until harvesting ramps up the week of October 30. Demand exceeds supply; prices are elevated.

• Texas stocks will remain scarce this week
• Offshore Navel supplies are limited; the season is winding down
• A few California growers have begun harvesting new crop Navels
  • Availability is very low; only a few pallets are being run daily
  • The size profile will be dominated by 88-count and smaller sizes at the start of the season
  • Sugar levels will be low and internal color will be pale
• The market will begin easing over the next several weeks; prices for California Navels are lower than those for fruit from Texas and offshore regions
