Markon’s buying office will be closed in observance of Independence Day (Friday, July 3); many processors will adjust loading and production schedules due to the holiday.

• Markon’s Salinas consolidation dock will be open on a limited basis
• Most Salinas shipping facilities will be open regular hours Friday, July 3; loading hours will be limited on Saturday, July 4
• Taylor Farms’ loading docks will be open regular loading hours on both Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4; trucks are urged to call by 8:00 a.m. to schedule appointments
• The 4-Earth consolidation dock will load trucks as normal on Friday, July 3 and until noon on Saturday, July 4
• Regular loading will reopen Sunday at 8:00 p.m.
• The Los Angeles Produce Market will be closed Monday, July 6; 4-Earth will not be able to purchase from the market that day
• Idaho potato sheds will conduct normal business hours on Friday, July 3, but will be closed on Saturday, July 4
• Washington potato sheds will load from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Friday, July 3, but closed on Saturday, July 4; Markon recommends calling ahead to schedule an appointment for trucks loading Friday, July 3
