UPDATE: Tropical Storm Pilar

Tropical Storm Pilar is located 70 miles south of Mazatlan, Mexico and will track north-northwest over the next two days.
- Wind speeds of 40 miles per hour and rain totals up to 7” are expected throughout parts of Western Mexico
- Sinaloa, Mexico will be a key production region through the fall and winter seasons
- Commodities including bell peppers, cucumbers, eggplants, squash, and tomatoes could be damaged by heavy rainfall
- Pilar is forecast to dissipate by Tuesday, September 26
