Apples

• Sufficient storage supplies of Markon First Crop (MFC) Granny Smith and Red Delicious Apples from Washington remain available
• The MFC Fuji Apple season is beginning to wind down
• MFC Gala and Golden Delicious Apples are limited; Markets are elevated
• Fuji, Gala, Golden Delicious, and Granny Smith apples are dominated by 80- to 100-count sizes, small sizes (113- to 138-count apples) are tighter

Cilantro

• An abnormally warm and humid weather pattern continues to hover over California and Mexico, creating quality and shelf-life concerns
• Ready-Set-Serve Washed & Trimmed Cilantro is sporadic due to erratic quality; packer label will be substituted as needed
• Weather permitting, harvesting is expected to resume in Mexico by mid-August; supply levels will return to normal
• Open-market pricing continues to climb
