Markon First Crop Celery is available from Salinas, California. Supplies remain limited, but will increase next week. Prices will inch down next week and decline further the week of July 17.

• Increased levels of dryness and pith are being seen throughout the Salinas Valley, tightening supplies    
• Michigan production has started in a limited way; stocks will increase over the next 10 days
• Eastern Canada’s harvest was delayed by rain; it’s now expected to begin the week of July 17
