FOLLOW UP: Christmas and New Year's Day Schedule 2016-2017

The Markon office will observe the Christmas and New Year‘s Day holidays on the Monday following each respective holiday; we will be closed on Monday, December 26 and Monday, January 2. Loading hours will be limited on the Saturdays and Mondays before and after the holidays. Due to abbreviated production schedules, shelf life on value-added products has the potential to be received with 1-2 fewer days upon arrival.
All times listed below are Pacific Standard Time.
Christmas Weekend
- Most citrus sheds will be closed Saturday, December 24 through Monday, December 26
- Some sheds will be open on a limited basis Saturday, December 24 and Monday, December 26
- Most Idaho, Oregon, and Washington onion and potato growers will load trucks on a limited schedule Friday, December 23, Saturday, December 24 and will be closed on Sunday, December 25 and Monday, December 26.
- Sheds will operate on a limited basis on Friday, December 23 and Saturday, December 24; trucks must call a day prior for loading arrangements
- Normal shipping hours will resume on Tuesday, December 27
- All Arizona, California, and East Coast grower-shippers will be closed on Christmas Day, Sunday, December 25 (no loading available)
- Most suppliers will operate under restricted shipping hours on Saturday, December 24 and Monday, December 26; normal hours will resume Tuesday, December 27
- Trucks must call ahead for appointments
- Taylor Farms will be open on a restricted basis on Saturday, December 24, but will be closed on Christmas Day, Sunday, December 25
- Loading dock hours will be limited (last appointment will be 1pm PST)
- Trucks must call ahead for appointments
- Normal shipping hours will resume on Monday, December 26
- 4-Earth Farms will be open on a limited basis on Saturday, December 24; they will be closed on Sunday, December 25, but will reopen Monday, December 26 at 1:00 a.m.
- Many shippers’ sales offices will operate on a restricted basis Friday, December 23; please see attached matrix for details about order placement deadlines
