  • Growers have transitioned from Salinas and Santa Maria to the Arizona desert growing region
  • Quality is very good

  • Cool weather will tighten supplies and push up prices through next week; the market should settle in the $18.00-$20.50 FOB range next week

Limes:

  • MFC Limes are available in Mexico (loading in McAllen, Texas)
  • Demand will strengthen as the holiday season approaches
  • Quality is excellent, but as supplies diminish, fruit will require more sorting for issues such as discoloration and scarring

  • MFC Strawberries are not available; packer label and Markon Best Available clamshells are being substituted as needed
  • Overall supplies are increasing in Florida and Mexico (into South Texas), but West Coast volume remains very low
