Strong demand will push the California market higher as the East Coast and Canadian seasons end. Supplies are forecast to meet demand, but prices will be elevated through the holidays.

• The market will rise into the high teens for the Thanksgiving holiday
• As the holidays approach, prices for 24-count celery will exceed the market for small sizes
• California production will transition from the Salinas Valley to Oxnard and Yuma, Arizona in mid- to late November
• The Florida season will begin by mid-December
• Expect very good quality
