The U.S. Food & Drug Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention along with health and regulatory officials in Texas have concluded through epidemiologic and traceback investigations that some Cyclospora-related illnesses among residents in that state were linked to fresh cilantro from the Puebla growing region of Mexico.
