UPDATE: GRAPES

Chilean green grape prices are climbing; South American supplies are expected to decrease weekly. Peru has reached the end of their season and Chilean production is beginning to wind down.
Green Grapes
- January’s heavy rains in parts of Chile created a reduction in green grape supplies and diminished quality
- Current quality concerns include: split skins, decay, and discoloration
- Chilean greens will be on the market until the second week of May
- Mexican green grapes will begin shipping by mid-May
Red Grapes
- Chilean red grape supplies are adequate
- Red pricing is expected to firm up in early April as the season begins to wind down.
- Chilean reds will be on the market until late May
- Mexican red grapes will begin shipping at the end of May
