UPDATE: Tropical Storm Franklin

Tropical Storm Franklin is located 200 miles southeast of the Yucatan Peninsula, where it is expected to make landfall by Tuesday, August 8.
- The storm will pass over Veracruz, Mexico by Wednesday; Veracruz is the primary growing region for limes
- Heavy precipitation will limit harvesting hours and production over the next week
- Rainy weather followed by warm temperatures will increase stylar (stem-end breakdown)
- Expect fewer supplies and higher prices over the next two weeks as growers face challenging conditions
