Tomato prices are inching up; supplies are limited in multiple growing regions as East Coast demand is strong. Expect slightly higher markets until early August.

Mexico

• Baja, Central Mexico, Jalisco, and San Luis Potosi vine-ripe volume is below normal levels
• Baja is the primary growing region for the Roma variety; volume is low
• Grape tomato supplies are sufficient; prices are slightly lower

East Coast

• Alabama, North Carolina, and Tennessee are the current growing regions
• Round and Roma stocks are limited
• Grape tomato supplies continue to increase; prices are slightly lower

California

• Strong East Coast demand has limited supplies of all tomato varieties
• Stocks will be limited over the next week
• Expect slightly higher prices until the week of August 3
