Tomato prices are rising; stocks are limited.

Mexico is the primary growing region at this time; supplies (crossing into Nogales, Arizona and South Texas) are below normal
- Mexican imports dropped 35% in the first 2 weeks of April in response to extremely weak demand
- Mexico’s winter season is winding down; Baja, Mexico’s spring crops will begin in early May
- Expect limited stocks through late April
- Spring production is just getting started in Florida; volume will steadily increase over the next several weeks
