Tomato prices continue to climb; supplies in Florida and Mexico remain extremely limited. The market is expected to ease by early January.

• Central and South Florida mature green volume will remain below seasonal norms for the next four weeks
  • Extra-large sizes will be especially limited as Central Florida growers move into their second and third picks
  • Expect a demand-exceeds-supply market through December
• Mexican-grown vine ripe supplies are scarce; winter production will not ramp up until early January
• Limited vine ripe stocks will cause a spike in demand for Mexican Romas; expect rising prices for three weeks
