Apples

• New crop Washington Markon First Crop (MFC) Fuji, Gala, Gold Delicious, Granny Smith, and Red Delicious Apples are on the market 
• Packer label Honeycrisp apples are available, while packer label Braeburn apples will be available in mid-October
• The crop is dominated by large sizes; small  fruit (113- to 138-count) is tighter
• Prices for large sizes will be low; small sizes will be more expensive

Green Onions

• Warmer-than-normal temperatures in Mexico’s Mexicali Valley have decreased yields; supplies are limited
• Expect tight stocks and elevated prices for the next several weeks  

Iceberg Lettuce

• MFC Premium Iceberg Lettuce is available; Markon Best Available is being substituted as necessary    
• Volume is expected to be lower than normal; East Coast programs are wrapping up, shifting demand to the West Coast
• Quality is good
• Prices are elevated

Idaho PotatoeS

• MFC Norkotah Potatoes are readily available in Idaho
• Growers have started harvesting new crop Burbanks
• A limited supply of fresh-run packer label Burbanks will be available September 27 through October 13
