Hurricane Michael
- Georgia-grown bell peppers, corn, cucumbers, eggplant, squash, and tomatoes have been impacted by the storm
- Availability and quality are concerns while growers assess total damages
- Supplies are limited; East Coast prices are poised to rise
Idaho Potatoes
- Markon First Crop (MFC) Idaho Potatoes will be limited, but available for the rest of the week
- Heavy rain and snow has slowed harvesting
- Production is expected to return to normal next week when the fields dry out
- Bag and Carton prices are expected to inch up over the next few weeks
Limited Bell Pepper Supplies
- MFC and Markon Essentials Green and Red Bell Peppers are limited
- Supplies are tightening in all regions
- East Coast demand is shifting to California and Mexico
- Prices are climbing
