Broccoli
- Mexican production will decline over the next several weeks
- The Arizona/California desert season is wrapping up
- The Salinas Valley and Santa Maria growing regions have experienced months of rain and low temperatures, reducing yields
- Expect limited supplies and elevated prices through April
Celery

Overall acreage in the Arizona/California desert growing regions are below normal
- Quality issues persist this season
- Yields are low
- Demand will shift to Oxnard, California as the desert season winds down over the next two weeks and Florida production ends in mid-April
- The Salinas Valley is on schedule to start in early June; stocks will increase at that time
- Expect prices to remain elevated through June
Onions
- Several smaller Northwestern onion growers have concluded their production seasons ahead of the usual April target dates
- The Texas-grown, fresh-run onion season has been behind schedule, but limited supplies are expected to become available next week
- Very few Mexican-grown red, yellow, and white onions are being shipped into Texas, driving up prices
