Lemons

• Markon First Crop (MFC) and Markon Essentials (ESS) Lemons are available
• Supplies are good; offshore Chilean lemons entered the market this week
• Shelf-life is shorter than normal at this time of year
• Expect prices to continue climbing through the summer

Limes

• MFC and ESS Limes are available
• Yellowing is a concern in some lots
• Expect ample supplies through August
• Prices are low; 175-count and smaller markets are much lower

Onions

California

• Fresh-run MFC Red and Yellow Onions are readily available
• Packer label white onions are also being shipped
• Fresh-run onions will have feathery skins and light color/exterior skins compared to Northwest storage onions

New Mexico

• MFC Red and Yellow Onions are on the market
• Sufficient supplies of all colors are available

South Texas

• Texas-grown, fresh-run MFC Onions will be depleted next week    
• Remaining onions are solid and firm, but exhibit occasional bruising, mold, and scarring

Washington

• MFC Yellow Onions will remain available through the week of July 11
• Remaining storage stocks are small in size (dominated by medium and jumbo sizes)
• Expect diminishing quality in remaining storage shipments
