Brussels Sprouts
- Yields are lower than expected in California’s primary growing region due to rain and cold weather during the planting season
- Supplies will remain extremely limited through mid-June
- Erratic weather during Mexico’s growing season has reduced stocks
Onions
- Storage crop Markon First Crop (MFC) Onions from the Northwest will remain on the market through late April/early May
- Texas-grown, fresh-run MFC Onions are being shipped
- The MFC California Yellow Onion season has begun; MFC Red and White Onions will hit the market Thursday, April 25
- MFC Onions from New Mexico will start shipping in early June
