California’s strawberry quality and supply challenges persist. The Ventura County growing region received rain, high winds, and freezing nighttime temperatures over the weekend. This week’s forecast is showing cool overnight lows and a 60% of rain on Thursday in Santa Maria. Supplies of quality fruit will be extremely limited for the next 14 days.
