UPDATE: Strawberries

Strawberry supplies will remain tight next week; prices will continue to climb. Rain will persist sporadically in Southern California’s main growing regions through this week, then return again on Monday, March 16. Harvesting is winding down in Florida and Mexico.
- Santa Maria received as much as one inch of rain from last night to this morning; attached are photos of strawberries and fields affected by rain
- The Florida season is expected to conclude the week of March 23
- Mexican berries will remain limited; quality will be erratic
