Strawberry supplies will tighten next week; expect prices to climb. Production is beginning to wind down in Florida and Mexico. Rain will hit California’s main growing regions next week.  

• Rain is forecast to start in Oxnard and Santa Maria, California this Saturday and persist through the next weekend; harvesting schedules will be disrupted
• The Florida season is wrapping up; expect extremely limited stocks over the next few weeks
• Quality will be erratic in remaining Mexican supplies as Baja and Central Mexico have also experieced rain
