Markon First Crop Strawberries are available. Supplies from the Salinas/Watsonville, California growing region are limited. Prices are rising. Expect higher markets and limited supplies into mid-September.

  • Supply levels are declining
  • Quality issues such as bleeding, bruising, soft texture, and small size may be present in finished packs
• New crop Santa Maria supplies are tight, but are expected to ramp up over the next couple of weeks
• Labor challenges have also contributed to lower yields
