Abnormally high temperatures in the California growing regions have reduced strawberry supplies. Expect California supplies to remain limited over the next 7 to 10 days. Florida volume is lower due to rain earlier this week. Mexican supplies (into South Texas) are ample. 

• Markon First Crop Strawberries are sporadic; Markon Best Available and packer label will be substituted as needed
• Supplies are tight in Oxnard, California; new crop Santa Maria supplies have started in a limited way
• Warmer Southern California weather has prevented fruit color from deepening; current volume is not meeting initial estimates
• Mexican stocks (into South Texas) are readily available; quality is very good
• Florida supplies are limited due to rain; quality is good
• Prices are steady to slightly higher in all regions
